After leaving school (a long time ago) I went to Tameside College, Ashton u Lyne, where I studied on an Advertisng & Design Course. Finishing the course, I started working at a large Advertising Agency in Manchester, where I trained as a finished artist.

After working in various Agencies and Art Studios in Manchester, I decided to work for myself as a freelancer in graphic designer /art director working for many high profile advertising  & design business’s in the North West.

In 2003, I became interested in the design and production of Stained Glass. This was when I enrolled on a basic stained glass course in Glossop, Derbyshire. Here I learned the required techniques to producing Stained Glass Windows and small Tiffany Glass pieces.

Over the years, when I had time in between running my business, I produced a number of traditional stained glass pieces for friends and family. It was during lockdown, I had the idea of using my illustration skills coupled with stained glass techniques to produced modern pieces of Stained Glass Art. 

Recently I have moved to a new studio in Stalybridge where I share the work space with long lasting friends who have their own business’s.
